DIY : HOW TO APPLY FAKE LASHES

Have you ever felt like it took you forever to apply your lashes and even when you finally get it its still not right? Don't worry you not the only one. I often wear fakes lashes because I love how it looks and it brings out my eyes. Here is a step by step tutorial on how I apply my fake lashes.

Tips:
- Before you start to apply, measure the length of the false lash to make sure it fits your eye shape.  If the strip needs be shortened, cut the outer edge completely off with a pair of scissors.

Step One:
- Make sure your  your lashes are clean.

Step Two:
- This step may be different for most but I found this way to be more effective for me. Apply mascara to your eyelashes. About one coat is fine you dont need to over do it. The reason why this may be different for most is because some wait to apply mascara till after their lashes are on but I apply before because I feel like my lashes have something to grip onto when I put them on .

Step Three:
Take both edges of the false lash and bend them in to create a C shape and hold for a couple of seconds. That's the best way to take out the straightness and ensure it molds to our curved eye shape and stays put without the corners lifting up.
Apply a high quality glue such as Duolash for long lasting results.
Wait 10 seconds or so for the glue to become more tactile and sticky before placing onto your own lash line.

Step Four:
 - Apply the lash to the base of your natural lash line on top of your actual lashes, not on the eyelid.

Step Five:
- Your lashes are now on and your ready to go =]. ( I like to apply my lashes after I apply my makeup)
