DIY CROP TOP

Sunday Funday! :)
Today I will be showing you how to create a simple crop top out of a regular size t-shirt :)! I am a huge fan if crops , I love they look but I wanted to add a tiny bit if style so I added a pocket :). Check out the tutorial below :

WHAT YOU NEED:
-  a t-shirt
- heat bond
- thread ( if needed)
- scissors
- iron on patch or  any kind of pattern to sew a pocket on

ALRIGHT LETS GET STARTED ;)

STEP ONE:
First thing first, you have to get your supplies together. It is always a good idea to lay everything out in front of you before you start any project so you could plan out what your gonna do step by step. This helps prevent mistakes .

STEP TWO:
Take your iron on patch or your pattern and cut the shape that your going to want to put on your top.
- I cut out a pocket shape .

STEP THREE:
- Once again I laid everything out and positioned the pattern where I would want my pocket to be.

STEP FOUR:
- It's time to cut your shirt into your crop top!
- (Hint : try the shirt on before you cut it and place a little mark on where excatly you want to beginning cutting your shirt )

STEP FIVE:
- Time to iron on your patch !
- If your sewing on a pattern this is the time you do it as well ! :)

STEP SIX:
- Last but not least with your heat bond to prevent your shirt from rising up becoming loose and undone you must apply your heat bond at the ends .

- Turn your shirt inside out and at the very bottom apply your heat bond and gold the ends up onto the bond. This will lock the shirt in place .

- Now your ready to iron over your shirt where the heat bond is under !

Your crop top is now complete ! And you don't have to worry about it comming apart in the laundry ! =D
